Custom integration
The Palletizing Robot is a robotic cell designed to automate the palletizing or stacking of boxes or bins in packaging facilities. The goal is to ensure reliable pallet formation, improve process consistency, and reduce operator handling. The goal is to ensure reliable pallet formation, improve process consistency, and reduce operator handling.
Vendée Concept designs custom robotic cells tailored to each site’s constraints: floor space, ergonomics, product types, throughput, upstream and downstream flows, and interfaces with existing equipment.
The entire system is developed as a turnkey solution, from the arrival of the boxes to the automatic evacuation of full pallets or stacks.
Configuration and integration
The Palletizing Robot is a fully configurable line: throughput, footprint, zone logic, upstream/downstream interfaces, and automation levels (robotic re-stacking / automatic / manual) are adapted to user constraints (available space, operator access, washer layout, workstation organization). Conveyors, buffer zones, and robot sequences are sized to ensure smooth operation, with possible degraded modes (manual/maintenance) when required.

Product Recognition and Box Differenciation
The robotic cell can incorporate a product recognition system that automatically identifies and differentiates boxes: barcode / Data Matrix reading, and/or length measurement (or other criteria as needed).
This identification facilitates multi-reference management, ensures the correct palletizing patterns are applied, and guarantees traceability of processed boxes.
Configuration and Control
The robotic cell is fully configurable: palletizing type (patterns/layers), box/bin formats, throughput, evacuation logic, pallet interfaces, and operating modes. Control is managed via an automation system and HMI, enabling monitoring (status, counters, alarms) and recipe configuration (formats, patterns, priorities).

Integration with an AMR Fleet
The Palletizing Robot cell can be integrated with our AMR solution to automate the removal of finished pallets/stacks. At the end of a cycle, the palletizer signals to the fleet that a stack is ready, and the system automatically dispatches an AMR to pick it up from the cell and transport it to the designated area. This removal is synchronized to avoid interrupting the palletizing robot’s operation and to maintain the production flow.
