The Gestprod Supervisor

The Gestprod Supervisor is a monitoring tool that retrieves production data from each connected machine in real time and records it in an SQL Server database in real time. This data is available directly in the database and can be viewed either via our Gestprod data viewing software or using any software capable of handling databases (ERP, Excel, etc.).

Your entire set of production data is stored, retrieved and analysed to ensure that you can optimise your overall production. It collects and records all weighing data in conjunction with labelling. The data is recorded by production batch number.

The supervisor is a genuine performance tool. This solution consolidates your production data and provides full traceability throughout your production process. This traceability complies with quality and food safety standards. It comprises several modules, which can be installed as required:

• Central module: allows you to view production results.

The results are analysed from several perspectives, with the option to group them:

1. Per period
2. Per batch
3. Per sorting machine
4. Per team

The information can be found:

1. By product (including family and sub-family)
2. By ejector, with average output data in pieces per minute and kg per hour
3. In groups (a combination of several ejectors)
4. By dosis (including details of the composition of each dose)
5. Summary table of weighing or ejection errors

• Productivity module: enables the productivity of each processing line to be monitored. It compares the actual values with ideal values. For example, the weight of the thighs produced is compared with the ideal weight calculated, for instance, from the live weight of the animal.
• Production schedule module (batch): enables you to enter the daily production schedule as well as all batch-related information (product type, farmer, veterinary details, etc.). The import of the schedule from a third-party ERP system can also be automated.
• Stock management module: enables stock management.

You can add and remove stock entries, clear stock (i.e. remove all items still considered to be in stock), move items from one stock location to another according to defined workflow rules, or cancel an item transfer. This module is an ideal complement to the ESI data entry stations as it allows you to make changes to stock levels and thus correct operators’ errors.

• Production Order Management Module: enables Production Orders (PO) to be sent to the grading machine and ensures they are tracked.
• Data Reporting Module: enables the creation of customised production reports.
• ERP module: enables a link between the company’s ERP system and the supervisor, for example to ensure that the list of product codes is kept up to date, transferred from the ERP system to the production machines.
• Label Design Module is an intuitive and powerful piece of software for designing label templates. Thanks to its simple, user-friendly interface, it allows you to quickly create labels for your products, choosing the text to be printed and the desired format as you wish. It is linked to the machines installed in the production workshop that are equipped with a printing system (automatic or manual).

The GESTPROD Supervisor also enables the management of ESI workstations (integrated data entry environment).

• « ESI » software :

The ESI software is installed on an operator workstation for entering traceability and stock management information. All the data collected can be viewed via the GESTPROD supervisory system and enables real-time monitoring of material stocks.

This software is fully customisable.

Several devices can be connected to the ESI terminal: scales, barcode scanners, labellers and RFID readers.

Example of use in a poultry slaughterhouse: ESI stations are located from the reception bay right through to the removal of products prior to packaging and dispatch.
