Calibra LA – Hooks

The overhead weighing line is a hook-based conveyor solution designed for the transport, weighing, and sorting of products in a continuous flow, with a minimal footprint.

The hooks, spaced at regular intervals, are mounted on a metal-reinforced cable with a plastic coating. The entire system is driven by a pulley circuit (some motorized), ensuring smooth circulation throughout the process.

The system is designed as a fully configurable solution to adapt to installation constraints and production objectives.

Guaranteed productivity

1. Operator Hooking: Operators place products on the hooks (whole products or cut portions).
2. Continuous Flow Weighing: Each hook individually passes through the weighing zone; if a product is present, it is dynamically weighed and then sorted. The system relies on a patented hook design, optimized for controlled passage through the weighing zone.
3. Sorting and Ejection: Products are assigned to a station based on their weight; ejection is performed by pneumatic unhookers and received in a stainless steel channel, with optional traps door.
